Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how heidiesparrago.com (the “Site”) collects, uses, and shares information about visitors who use the contact form or otherwise interact with the Site. The Site is operated by Heidi Esparrago in connection with her therapy practice.

Information we collect

When you submit the contact form, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your city and state (optional, used to confirm we can serve clients in your jurisdiction)
  • How you reached the Site — the referring website and any campaign tags in the link you followed. This tells us which marketing efforts are working. It describes the link you clicked, not you, and it does not record which pages you read before getting in touch.

We also receive limited technical information from your browser (IP address, user agent, request timing) as part of normal web hosting.

We use analytics to understand how the Site is used — which pages are visited and which buttons are clicked. This is handled entirely by Vercel, our hosting provider, and is served from this website’s own domain. It sets no tracking cookies, and no third-party advertising or analytics company — including Google — receives anything about your visit. Information you type into the contact form is never sent to any analytics provider.

Please do not send health information through this form

The contact form is intended for general inquiries and scheduling only. Please do not include diagnoses, medications, clinical history, or other protected health information (PHI). If you need to share that kind of information, please call or wait until secure communication is established through the practice’s clinical channels.

How information is used

Information you submit through the contact form is used solely to respond to your inquiry and, if applicable, to schedule a consultation. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information for marketing purposes.

Your privacy choices

We do not sell or share your personal information, and we never have. “Sell” and “share” here carry the meanings given to them by the California Consumer Privacy Act, which includes disclosing information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we do this for no one, there is nothing for you to opt out of — but you are entitled to ask, and the answer will not change.

This Site loads no advertising trackers, no social media pixels, and no session-recording tools, so there is no consent banner to dismiss. Nothing about your visit is used to build a profile of you or to follow you to other websites.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, there is no tracking here for it to disable. To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it deleted, contact the practice using the details on the contact page.

Third-party services

The Site relies on the following service providers, each of which may receive limited information in the course of providing its service:

  • Vercel — web hosting, DNS, and cookieless traffic analytics
  • EmailJS — routes contact form submissions
  • Google Gmail — receives form submissions

Retention

Contact form submissions are retained in the practice’s inbox for as long as needed to respond and maintain ordinary business records. You may request that we delete your inquiry at any time by contacting us at the email address below.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information we hold about you by contacting us at h.esparragozeppelin@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
